Pakistan Embassy Kathmandu, on behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan organized a book launching ceremony of Nepali translation of “the Hindu Heritage of Pakistan.” The book is translated, printed and published by Mr Rajan Karki. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Mr Kamal Thapa, Chairman RPP.
Mr Kamal Thapa, Chairman RPP, Gen (Retd) Bharat Kisher Singh, President World Hindu Federation Nepal, Col (Retd) Hem Bahadur Karki, ex President World Hindu Federation Nepal, Mr Govinda Tandon, Trustee Pashupatinath temple and Ms Mohana Ansari, General Secretary Human Rights Commission of Nepal lauded the effort of Mr Rajan Karki in translating the book in Nepali language and making the people of Nepal to know and understand the Hindu heritage of Pakistan. They also thanked the government of Pakistan for looking after Hindu minority in the country and taking care of their religious places.
Charge d’ Affairs (a.i) Embassy of Pakistan, Mr Javed Ahmed Umrani in his remarks said that Pakistan Embassy is extremely thankful to Mr Rajan Karki for translating the book Hindu Heritage of Pakistan in Nepali language. This effort of Mr Rajan Karki would go a long way in enhancing cultural relations between the two countries.
The programme was well attended by guests including diplomatic corps in Kathmandu, politicians, civil bureaucracy, important media related personalities and civil society.
